Wendy Norton is an American contemporary impressionist painter known for her expressive oil paintings, vibrant colors, and rich palette-knife textures. Raised on Long Island, New York, she developed an early appreciation for art and was particularly influenced by the works of Monet, Hassam, Pissarro, and Van Gogh. After studying graphic design at the State University College at Buffalo and working as an art director in Manhattan, Norton eventually followed her passion for painting and became a full-time artist. Now based in Florida, she draws inspiration from coastal landscapes, seascapes, city scenes, florals, and the natural beauty around her.
