Steve Barton is an American contemporary artist known for his vibrant, impressionistic paintings of tropical landscapes, seascapes, sunsets, and coastal life. Raised in New Hampshire by his mother, who was also a painter, Barton discovered his passion for art at an early age. His travels and life in Southern California have strongly influenced his colorful, relaxed style. Barton is particularly recognized for his distinctive patented “Wavy” frames, which curve with the artwork to create a unique three-dimensional presentation. Since 2011, he has also been an officially licensed Disney Fine Artist, creating colorful works featuring beloved Disney characters.
