David Wight (b. 1971) is an internationally recognized American glass artist from Bellingham, Washington, best known for his dynamic hand-blown glass wave sculptures. Inspired by a transformative encounter with a waterfall in the Caribbean, Wight developed a passion for capturing the beauty, movement, and energy of water in glass. After studying at the Pilchuck Glass School, he developed his own techniques for sculpting molten glass into flowing waves. His work has been exhibited throughout North America and is featured at Disney, where he is recognized as its sole glass artist.
