Brian Arthur
Brian Arthur, a British sculptor best known for his finely detailed bronze sculptures inspired by wildlife and the natural world, is a popular fine artist in our gallery. He studied sculpture and art history at Southport College of Arts before continuing his training in Staffordshire and London, where he developed his skills in hand-thrown sculpture and ornamental design. His career later took him to the Bahamas, France, Italy, and the United States. In America, Arthur worked with renowned sculptor Felix DeWeldon on major commemorative monuments, including the Iwo Jima and Harry S. Truman memorials. His signature “Living Series” features elegant bronze herons, pelicans, dolphins, sea lions, and other animals, celebrated for their graceful forms and rich, hand-applied patinas.
